Tank and Pipe Welding Flanges

KALYMNOS FUEL ENGINEERING presents a comprehensive range of high-reliability welding elements, designed for the safe and effective installation of bottom valves and piping on tank trucks. All our products meet or exceed the requirements of the relevant EN13308 and EN13314 standards, ensuring compliance with ADR safety protocols.

  1. Bottom Valve Saddles (BVS Series): The BVS100 welding Sumps offer the optimal solution for installing bottom valves on the tank shell.

  2. Bottom Valve Flanges (BVF Series): The BVF100 welding Flanges combine all the advantages of the saddles with enhanced flow.

  3. Pipe Flanges: For complete functionality, we also offer welding pipe flanges in standard industrial dimensions.

They are characterized by:

1. BVS Series

  • Construction: Available in versions made from S235JR Steel (BVS100St) and Aluminum Alloy EN AW-5083 (BVS100Al) for perfect compatibility with the tank material.
  • Mounting: 8-bolt system for strong and uniform fastening.
  • Sealing: Large, flat sealing surface for reliable valve seating.
  • Installation: Pre-installed M12 (8.8) bolts with washers and lock washers for immediate and easy installation.
  • Quality & Traceability: Each unit bears unique marking for full traceability.

2. BVF Series

  • Enhanced Flow: Internal wide chamfer for minimal pressure loss and unrestricted flow from the bottom valve.
  • Construction: Same material versions and mounting system as the BVS series (Steel BVF100St, Aluminum BVF100Al).
  • Common Features: The same reliable sealing, mounting system, and build quality.

3. Pipe Flanges

  • Materials: Steel (St) and Aluminum (Al).
  • Standard Dimensions: TTMA 4″, TQFA 4″, TQFA 3″.
  • Common Features & Application:All welding elements are suitable for ADR Class 3 fuel tanks, with a maximum vapor pressure of 110 kPa (@ 50°C).
